Raisin crisscross cookies
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- milk - 1 Tbsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour
- baking soda - 3/4 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- soft butter - 1/2 c
- cream of tartar - 3/4 tsp
- lemon extract - 1 tsp
- coarsely ground raisins if desired - 1/2 c
How to make raisin crisscross cookies:
Cream the butter, sugar and egg together. Mix milk and lemon extract, then mix remaining ingredients together, except raisins. Add the raisins, if desired. Roll in balls (1 teaspoon). Place on greased cookie sheet. With a fork (dipped in flour), crisscross the ball, pressing it flat. Bake at 400° for 8 to 10 minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Drop cookies, Cookie and brownie.
