Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- chopped nuts
- flour - 4 c
- water - 1 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- powdered sugar
- pumpkin pie spice - 2 tsp
- raisins
- margarine - 1 c
- oleo - 2 Tbsp
- milk as needed - 1 item
How to make raisin cookies:
Frosting:2 c. powdered sugar2 Tbsp. oleo1 tsp. vanilla milk as needed Cook raisins and water until there is 1/2 cup of liquid left. Cream the margarine, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Add cooked raisins and juice to creamed mixture. Sift dry ingredients and gradually stir into raisin mixture. (Do not use mixer.) Add nuts. Drop by spoonful on greased cookie sheet. Bake 12 to 15 minutes at 375° on lower-middle shelf. Cookies may be frosted while warm with powdered sugar frosting.Recipe categories: Desserts, Drop cookies, Cookie and brownie.
