  • sugar - 2 c
  • eggs - 6 item
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • vanilla flavoring - 2 tsp
  • baking powder
  • sticks butter - 3 item
  • cake flour - 4 c
  • almond flavoring - 1/2 tsp
  • can flaked coconut - 1 item
  • grated tart apples - 2 c
  • 1/2 boxes dark raisins - 1 item

How to make raisin cake:

Cream the butter and sugar. Add eggs, two at a time, beating well after each addition. Add flavoring. Add sifted dry ingredients (reserving 1/2 cup flour to dredge raisins). Add coconut, apples and raisins. Bake in greased paper lined tube cake pan 1 1/2 hours at 300°.
