Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 6 item
- salt - 1 tsp
- vanilla flavoring - 2 tsp
- baking powder
- sticks butter - 3 item
- cake flour - 4 c
- almond flavoring - 1/2 tsp
- can flaked coconut - 1 item
- grated tart apples - 2 c
- 1/2 boxes dark raisins - 1 item
How to make raisin cake:
Cream the butter and sugar. Add eggs, two at a time, beating well after each addition. Add flavoring. Add sifted dry ingredients (reserving 1/2 cup flour to dredge raisins). Add coconut, apples and raisins. Bake in greased paper lined tube cake pan 1 1/2 hours at 300°.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Fruit.
