Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 4 item
- salt - 2 tsp
- flour - 5 c
- buttermilk - 1 qt
- baking soda - 5 tsp
- white sugar
- Crisco oil - 1 c
- box Raisin Bran - 15 oz
How to make raisin bran muffins:
Cream the sugar, oil and eggs. Add buttermilk and dry ingredients. Mix well. Stir in cereal last. Bake at 400° for 15 minutes in greased muffin pans. Makes 6 dozen.Note: Batter will keep up to 8 weeks in the refrigerator.
Variation: Ten ounces Raisin Bran and 3 cups of sugar.
