Raisin bran muffins
Ingredients/Components
- packed brown sugar - 1 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- water - 1 c
- buttermilk - 2 c
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- vegetable oil - 1/2 c
- all-purpose flour
- raisins
- whole bran cereal - 3 c
- Pour in buttermilk, water and oil; stir well
How to make raisin bran muffins:
Place bran cereal in large mixing bowl. Pour in buttermilk, water and oil; stir well. Mix in eggs and brown sugar. Add dry ingredients all at once; stir just enough to combine. Fold in raisins. To bake desired number of muffins, fill greased muffin tins 2/3 full. Bake at 375° for 20 to 25 minutes. Store remaining batter in tightly covered container in refrigerator up to 6 weeks.
