- sugar - 1 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1/2 c
- flour - 3 c
- buttermilk - 2 c
- baking soda - 2 tsp
- raisins or currants - 1 c
- All Bran cereal - 2 c
How to make raisin bran bread:
Sift the first 4 ingredients several times to mix thoroughly. Add the All Bran, then the raisins and nuts. Stir in buttermilk. Bake in 2 (8 x 4-inch) loaf pans and bake at 300° for 1 hour.Recipe categories: Breads, Breakfast, Quick breads.
