Quick taco salad
Ingredients/Components
- 8 oz
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- chili powder - 1 tsp
- salsa - 1/2 c
- shredded lettuce - 4 c
- 2 oz - 1/2 c
- ground beef - 3/4 lb
- medium tomato, chopped - 1 item
- crushed tortilla chips - 1/2 c
How to make quick taco salad:
In large skillet, brown ground beef and onion; drain. Remove from skillet. Set aside. In same skillet, prepare Rice-A-Roni. Mix as package directs. Stir in meat mixture, salsa and chili powder. Keep cooking over low heat 3 to 4 minutes or until heated through.Arrange lettuce on serving platter. Top with rice mixture, tomato, cheese and tortilla chips.
