Quick taco salad
Ingredients/Components
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- chili powder - 1 tsp
- salsa - 1/2 c
- shredded Monterey Jack or Cheddar cheese - 1/2 c
- shredded lettuce - 4 c
- medium tomato, chopped - 1 item
- crushed tortilla chips - 1/2 c
- lean ground beef or turkey - 3/4 lb
- Rice-A-Roni beef flavor - 1 pkg
How to make quick taco salad:
Brown meat in a large skillet with onion. Drain. Remove from skillet; set aside.Prepare Rice-A-Roni according to package. Stir in meat mixture, salsa and chili powder. Heat over low fire. Arrange lettuce on serving platter. Top with rice mixture, tomato, cheese and chips.
