Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 Tbsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour
- shortening - 2 Tbsp
- warm water - 1 c
- egg, beaten - 1 item
- yeast - 1 pkg
How to make quick rolls:
Dissolve yeast and sugar in water. Add shortening, egg and salt. Gradually work in flour. Cover and let rise for 45 minutes. Roll out and cut into rolls. Place on baking sheet and let rise for 30 minutes. Bake at 400° for 10 to 12 minutes.Recipe categories: Breads, Rolls/biscuits, Yeast breads.
