Quick hot fudge sauce
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- vanilla extract - 1 tsp
- butter or margarine - 2 Tbsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- cocoa - 1/3 c
- boiling water - 1 c
- all-purpose flour - 2 Tbsp
How to make quick hot fudge sauce:
Combine the first 5 ingredients in a saucepan; blend well. Gradually add water. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until smooth and thickened. Bring mixture to a boil; boil 2 minutes. Stir in vanilla. Serve hot over cake. Store in refrigerator. Heat as needed. Yields 1 1/4 cups.Recipe categories: Desserts, Sweet sauces, Sauces.
