Ingredients/Components
- buttermilk
- self-rising flour
- butter, melted - 1/2 c
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- can chicken broth - 1 item
- cubed, cooked chicken - 3 4
- boiled eggs optional - 2 item
How to make quick chicken pie:
Place chicken and 1/2 milk in lightly greased 9 x 13-inch baking dish. Blend soup with broth. Pour over chicken; arrange egg slices over chicken. Combine flour, buttermilk and butter; mix well. Pour evenly over chicken mixture. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 1 hour or until crust rises to top and is golden brown.Recipe categories: Main dish, Poultry, One Dish meal.
