Quick cherry cobbler
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- self-rising flour - 1 c
- stick margarine or butter - 3/4 item
- can pie cherries - 1 item
- sweet milk - 1 c
How to make quick cherry cobbler:
In round, deep pie pan, put margarine and place in 425° oven to melt. While margarine is melting, mix together the flour, sugar and sweet milk; mix well. Pour this mixture over melted margarine, but do not stir. Pour can of cherry pie filling in pan; do not stir. Bake 25 minutes at 425° or until crust is brown. (Crust will not rise to top if a square pan is used.)In memory of Ann Cochran.
