Quiche lorraine
Ingredients/Components
- butter - 1 tsp
- eggs, beaten - 4 item
- whipping cream
- chopped parsley - 1 tsp
- medium onion, chopped - 1/2 item
- pie shell - 1 item
- cubed ham, sauteed - 4 oz
- pinch of black pepper and nutmeg - 1 item
- Cheddar cheese or other mild cheese - 3 oz
How to make quiche lorraine:
Cook ham and onion in butter. Combine eggs, pepper, nutmeg, cream and parsley for batter. Spread ham and onion in pie shell. Add batter, then cheese on top. Bake at 350° for 1 hour. Makes 1 pie.Recipe categories: Breakfast, Main dish, Savory pies.
