  • vanilla extract - 1 tsp
  • butter or margarine - 1/4 c
  • chocolate chips - 1 c
  • powdered sugar
  • peanut butter - 1/2 c
  • Corn Chex cereal - 9 c

How to make puppy chow:

Pour cereal into large bowl; set aside. In 1-quart pan, heat chocolate chips, peanut butter and margarine until smooth. Stir in vanilla. Pour chocolate mixture over cereal and stir until coated. Place lid over large bowl after adding powdered sugar. Seal securely and shake until coated.
