  • graham crackers, crushed - 24 item
  • sugar - 1/3 c
  • butter - 1/2 c
  • eggs, beaten - 2 item
  • cream cheese - 8 oz
  • pumpkin - 2 c
  • egg yolks - 3 item
  • milk - 1/2 c
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • cinnamon - 1 Tbsp
  • envelope plain gelatin - 1 item
  • cold water - 1/4 c
  • egg whites - 3 item
  • whipping cream - 1/2 pt

How to make pumpkin torte:

Mix graham crackers, 1/3 cup sugar and butter; press into 9 x 13-inch pan. Mix eggs, 3/4 cup sugar and cream cheese; pour over crust. Bake 20 minutes at 350°. Cook pumpkin, egg yolks, 1/2 cup sugar, milk, salt and cinnamon until mixture thickens. Remove from heat and add gelatin, dissolved in cold water. Cool. Beat egg whites and 1/4 cup sugar; fold in pumpkin mixture. Pour over cooled baked crust. Top with whipped cream.
