Pumpkin spice cake
Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- eggs - 4 item
- chopped pecans - 1/2 3/4
- brown sugar - 3/4 c
- nutmeg - 1/4 tsp
- vegetable oil - 1/2 c
- canned pumpkin - 1 c
- butter or oleo
- allspice - 1/2 tsp
- yellow cake mix - 1 item
How to make pumpkin spice cake:
Glaze:1/2 c. butter or oleo1/2 c. brown sugar1/2 to 3/4 c. chopped pecans Combine first seven ingredients. Beat 1 minute. Add eggs. Beat 2 minutes more. Pour into greased Bundt pan.For Glaze: Melt butter with brown sugar. Add nuts. Pour half of mixture on top of cake batter. Bake at 350° for 1 hour. Cool in pan for 15 minutes, then invert onto plate. When cool, drizzle remaining glaze on cake.
Option: Can omit glaze and top with favorite frosting.
