Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1 c
- flour - 1 Tbsp
- butter - 1 Tbsp
- ginger - 1/8 tsp
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- chicken broth - 1 c
- onion, thinly sliced - 1/2 item
- marjoram - 1/8 tsp
- pureed pumpkin - 1 c
How to make pumpkin soup:
Saute onion in butter. Stir in flour. Gradually add chicken broth; simmer 10 minutes. Add pureed pumpkin. Blend at high speed until smooth. Add remaining ingredients. Simmer to blend flavors. Sprinkle with cinnamon before serving.Recipe categories: Vegetables, Soups & stews, Bisques/cream soups.
