- yellow cake mix reserve 1 c - 1 pkg
- butter, melted - 1/2 c
- egg - 1 item
- pumpkin 1 lb
- eggs - 2 item
- milk - 2/3 c
- sugar
- salt - 1 tsp
- cinnamon - 2 tsp
- ginger - 1 tsp
- cloves - 1/2 tsp
- reserved cake mix
- butter - 1/4 c
How to make pumpkin pie dessert squares:
Filling:3 c. pumpkin (1 lb. 14 oz. can)2 eggs2/3 c. milk1 1/2 c. sugar1 tsp. salt2 tsp. cinnamon1 tsp. ginger1/2 tsp. cloves Topping:1 c. reserved cake mix1 tsp. cinnamon1/4 c. sugar1/4 c. butter Grease bottom of a 9 x 13-inch pan. Reserve 1 cup of cake mix for topping. Combine remaining cake mix, butter and egg. Press into pan.Prepare filling by combine pumpkin, sugar, spices, eggs and milk. Pour over crust.
Combine topping ingredients. Sprinkle over filling. Bake 45 to 50 minutes at 350°, until knife comes out clean. Serve with whipped cream.
