- milk - 2/3 c
- chopped nuts - 1/2 c
- brown sugar - 1/4 c
- margarine - 1/2 c
- beaten egg - 1 item
- white sugar - 1/4 c
- cake mix
- box yellow cake mix - 1 item
- 13 oz
How to make pumpkin pie cake:
Filling:1 large can pumpkin (1 lb. 13 oz.)3 eggs2/3 c. milk1/4 c. brown sugar1/4 c. white sugar Topping:1 c. cake mix1/2 c. sugar1/2 c. chopped nuts Take 1 cup of the cake mix and set aside. Combine the rest of the cake mix, 1/2 cup margarine (melted and cooled) and the egg. Beat with a fork until mix is absorbed. Press into greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan.Combine the filling ingredients; beat well. Spread over the crust in the pan.
Topping: To the 1 cup of cake mix, add 1/2 cup sugar and 1/2 cup chopped nuts, then sprinkle over the pumpkin mixture. Bake at 350° for 50 to 55 minutes. Cool in pan. Cut into squares and top with whipped cream.
