- cinnamon - 1/4 tsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- brown sugar - 1 c
- eggs, separated - 3 item
- pumpkin - 2 c
- ginger - 1/2 tsp
- allspice - 1/2 tsp
- unbaked pie shell - 1 item
- scalded milk - 3 c
- grated nutmeg - 1/4 tsp
How to make pumpkin pie:
Combine pumpkin, egg yolks, brown sugar, salt and spices; add milk. Beat 3 egg whites until stiff; fold into pumpkin mixture. Pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake at 450° for 10 minutes.
