Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1/3 c
  • eggs - 3 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • pumpkin - 1 c
  • pumpkin pie spice - 1 tsp
  • pecans - 1 c
  • white Karo - 2/3 c
  • melted oleo - 3 Tbsp
  • unbaked 9-inch pie shell - 1 item

How to make pumpkin pecan pie:

Stir together 1 slightly beaten egg, pumpkin, 1/3 cup sugar and pie spices. Spread over bottom of pie shell. Beat 2 eggs; add 1/2 cup sugar, white Karo, oleo and vanilla. Fold in nuts. Spoon over pumpkin mixture. Bake at 325° for 1 hour. Serve with whipped cream.
