Ingredients/Components
- tub Cool Whip - 1 (8
- orange sherbet, softened 2 c - 1 pt
- 9-inch Oreo pie crust - 1 item
How to make pumpkin patch pie:
Place sherbet in bowl and stir until smooth. Stir in 1/2 of the Cool Whip until well blended. Spoon into crust. Sprinkle with chopped Oreo cookies, pressing firmly into sherbet. Cover with remaining Cool Whip.Freeze 4 hours or until firm. Let stand at room temperature for 10 minutes before serving. Garnish with finely chopped Oreo cookies or candy pumpkins, if desired. Makes 8 servings.
For more intense orange color, stir in a few drops of red and yellow food coloring.
