- chopped walnuts - 1/3 c
- softened butter - 3 Tbsp
- lemon juice - 1 tsp
- 9-inch pie shell - 1 item
- ground cinnamon - 1/4 tsp
- ground nutmeg - 1/8 tsp
- Carnation milk - 1 c
- Pumpkin Layer:2 eggs
- Place in pie shell
- medium size green apples, thinly sliced - 2 c
How to make pumpkin dutch apple pie:
Pumpkin Layer:2 eggs1 1/2 c. pumpkin1 c. Carnation milk1/2 c. granulated sugar2 Tbsp. butter or margarine3/4 tsp. cinnamon1/8 tsp. ground nutmeg1/4 tsp. salt1 (9-inch) pie shell Toss apple slices with sugar, flour, lemon juice and cinnamon in a bowl. Place in pie shell. Combine eggs, pumpkin, sugar, butter, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt. Pour over apples. Bake at 375° for 30 minutes. Remove from oven.
