Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- dash of salt - 1 item
- ginger - 1/2 tsp
- margarine - 1/2 c
- ground cloves - 1/8 tsp
- yellow cake mix - 1 item
- margarine, melted - 1/2 c
- can pumpkin - 1 lb
- Filling:2 eggs
- evaporated milk small can - 2/3 c
- yellow cake mix can use Jiffy cake mix for this - 2 c
How to make pumpkin dessert:
Filling:2 eggs1 (1 lb.) can pumpkin1 tsp. cinnamon1/2 tsp. ginger1/8 tsp. ground cloves dash of salt1 tsp. vanilla3/4 c. sugar2/3 c. evaporated milk (small can) Topping:1/2 c. sugar2 tsp. cinnamon1/2 c. margarine2 c. yellow cake mix (can use Jiffy cake mix for this) Combine cake mix, egg and 1/2 cup melted margarine. Spread in bottom of greased 9 x 13-inch pan.Filling: In medium size bowl, beat eggs. Add remaining filling ingredients; mix well. Pour over crust in pan.
Topping: Mix all ingredients together and dot on top of filling. (It is too thick to spread.) Bake at 325° for 50 to 60 minutes. Serve with whipped cream.
