  • sugar - 1/3 c
  • cinnamon - 1 Tbsp
  • pkg - 1 oz
  • milk - 1/2 c
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • dash of cream of tartar - 1 item
  • egg yolks - 3 item
  • cold water - 1/4 c
  • eggs, beaten - 2 item
  • pumpkin - 2 c
  • Cool Whip - 1 item
  • pecans - 1 item
  • stick oleo, melted - 1 item
  • envelope Knox gelatine - 1 item
  • egg whites, beaten - 3 item
  • sugar if used - 44 graham

How to make pumpkin dessert:

Mix together the graham crackers, sugar and oleo; press into a 9 x 13-inch pan.

Beat together the 2 eggs, 3/4 cup of sugar and cream cheese; pour over crust. Bake 20 minutes at 350°.

Mix together in a saucepan the pumpkin, 1/2 cup of sugar, milk, salt, cinnamon and 3 egg yolks. Cook until thick; remove from heat. Dissolve gelatine in cold water. Add to pumpkin mixture; cool. Mix together the egg whites, 1/4 cup of sugar and cream of tartar. Fold into cooled pumpkin mixture. Pour egg-pumpkin mixture over cream cheese mixture. Spread Cool Whip over top. Top with pecans.
