Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1 c
  • cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
  • cream cheese
  • eggs - 3 item
  • powdered sugar
  • Cool Whip - 8 oz
  • nuts, chopped - 2 c
  • can evaporated milk - 12 oz
  • can pumpkin - 16 oz
  • box yellow cake mix - 1 item
  • sticks margarine, melted and cooled - 2 item
  • dash each: ginger, nutmeg and cloves - 1 item

How to make pumpkin crisp:

Frosting:8 oz. cream cheese1 1/2 c. powdered sugar8 oz. Cool Whip Preheat oven to 350°. Line a 9 x 13 x 2-inch pan with wax paper. (Spray with Pam, then put wax paper in, then spray with Pam again.) Mix pumpkin, milk, sugar, spices and eggs. Pour into prepared pan. Sprinkle cake mix evenly over pumpkin mixture. Sprinkle nuts (I like to use pecans) over cake mix. Pour margarine over nuts. Bake at 350° for 50 to 60 minutes. Remove from oven and invert pan onto cookie sheet or serving plate. Remove wax paper. Cool. Frost.

Frosting: Whip the cream cheese and powdered sugar. Fold in Cool Whip. Refrigerate. Can decorate with red and green cherries.
