Pumpkin cookies

Ingredients/Components

• sugar
• cinnamon - 1 tsp
• vanilla - 1 tsp
• salt - 1/2 tsp
• flour
• nutmeg - 1 tsp
• soda - 1 tsp
• baking powder - 1 tsp
• egg - 1 item
• chopped nuts optional - 1 c
• margarine - 1/2 c
• chocolate bits - 1 c
• pumpkin, mashed - 1 c

How to make pumpkin cookies:

Cream margarine and sugar. Beat in egg, pumpkin and vanilla. Mix rest of dry ingredients together. Add to pumpkin mixture. Add bits and nuts. Drop by teaspoon on greased sheet. Bake at 350° for 15 minutes.
