  • sugar - 1 c
  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • flour - 2 c
  • baking powder - 1 tsp
  • baking soda - 1 tsp
  • shortening - 1/2 c
  • nuts - 1/2 c
  • canned pumpkin - 1 c
  • raisins
  • orange peel - 1 Tbsp

How to make pumpkin cookies:

Optional:1/2 c. raisins1/2 c. nuts Preheat oven to 375°. Mix sugar, pumpkin, shortening and peel. Add flour, baking powder, baking soda and cinnamon. Mix well. Add raisins and nuts. Bake 8 to 10 minutes on an ungreased cookie sheet.
