  • cinnamon - 2 tsp
  • eggs - 2 item
  • vanilla - 2 tsp
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • flour - 4 c
  • soda - 2 tsp
  • baking powder - 2 tsp
  • pumpkin - 2 c
  • shortening - 2 c
  • white sugar - 2 c
  • dates, chopped
  • walnuts - 1 c

How to make pumpkin cookies:

Cream together shortening, eggs, sugar, pumpkin and vanilla. Add to flour, salt, soda, baking powder and cinnamon. Fold in dates and nuts. Drop on a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350° for 12 to 15 minutes.
