butter, softened
sugar - 1 c
vanilla - 1 tsp
salt - 1 tsp
flour - 4 c
baking soda - 2 tsp
egg - 1 item
oatmeal - 2 c
ground cinnamon - 2 tsp
can pumpkin - 1 oz
chocolate chips or raisins - 1 pkg
brown sugar - 2 c

How to make pumpkin cookies:

Combine flour, oatmeal, soda, cinnamon and salt; set aside. Cream butter and sugars; add egg and vanilla. Alternate additions of dry ingredients and pumpkin into creamed mixture. Stir in chocolate chips.

Bake on greased cookie sheet 10 to 12 minutes with oven temperature at 350°.
