Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- eggs - 2 item
- nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- chocolate chips - 1/4 c
- heavy cream
- all-purpose flour - 2 c
- chopped walnuts - 1/4 c
- pumpkin pie spice - 1/2 tsp
- canned pumpkin
- 4x sugar - 1/2 c
- ground cloves - 1/4 tsp
- ground cinnamon - 1 tsp
- ground ginger - 1/4 tsp
- softened margarine - 1/2 c
How to make pumpkin chocolate chip bread:
Glaze:1 Tbsp. heavy cream1/2 c. 4x sugar In a large mixing bowl, cream margarine. Gradually add sugar, eggs and pumpkin. Combine dry ingredients; stir into creamed mixture and blend well. Stir in chocolate chips and nutmeats. Pour into a greased 9 x 5-inch loaf pan. Bake at 350° for 45 to 50 minutes or until loaf tests done. Cool on rack.Combine glaze ingredients and drizzle over loaf. Yield: 1 loaf.
