  • sugar - 2 c
  • cinnamon - 2 tsp
  • eggs - 4 item
  • vanilla - 2 tsp
  • butter or margarine - 1/2 c
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • flour - 2 c
  • soda - 2 tsp
  • baking powder - 2 tsp
  • pumpkin - 2 c
  • box powdered sugar
  • corn oil - 1 c
  • Philadelphia cream cheese - 8 oz
  • chopped walnuts or pecans - 1 c

How to make pumpkin cake:

Frosting:1 lb. box powdered sugar8 oz. Philadelphia cream cheese1/2 c. butter or margarine2 tsp. vanilla Mix sugar, eggs and oil; add rest of ingredients. Beat with mixer on high speed for 3 minutes. Put in greased and floured tube pan. (I use the no stick spray.) Bake in 325° preheated oven for 45 minutes. (I use self-rising flour and omit the baking powder and salt and use just 1 teaspoon of soda.)

Frosting: Cream butter or margarine and cream cheese. Add rest of ingredients and mix. Frost warm cake. (I sometimes omit the frosting and nuts.)
