Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1/2 tsp
- water - 1/3 c
- baking soda - 2 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- chopped walnuts - 1/2 c
- raisins optional - 1/2 c
- Crisco - 1/2 c
- evaporated milk, chilled - 1/2 c
- or 2 c - 1 can
- honey spice cake mix - 1 pkg
- Then beat 4 minutes at medium speed
How to make pumpkin cake:
Beat all ingredients, except walnuts and raisins, 30 seconds on low speed. Then beat 4 minutes at medium speed. Fold in walnuts and raisins. Grease and flour cake pans. Preheat oven to 350°. Bake for 40 to 45 minutes.Frosting for Pumpkin Cake:1/2 c. butter1/2 c. sugar1/2 c. Crisco1 egg1/2 c. evaporated milk, chilled1/2 tsp. vanilla Beat butter, Crisco and sugar until smooth and not granular. Add egg, then add evaporated milk. Whip this.
