Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- cinnamon - 2 tsp
- cream cheese - 6 oz
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla - 1/4 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 3/4 c
- butter - 4 Tbsp
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- pumpkin - 2/3 c
- ginger - 1 tsp
- pecans - 1 c
- lemon juice - 1 tsp
- Beat eggs in sugar
How to make pumpkin bread:
Sift flour and first 5 ingredients. Beat eggs in sugar. Stir in pumpkin and lemon juice. Spread in greased and floured cookie sheet. Sprinkle with nuts. Bake at 375° for 15 minutes. Loosen edges and turn onto waxed paper or towel. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and roll. Chill until cool. Unroll and spread with filling and roll again.Filling:1 c. powdered sugar6 oz. cream cheese4 Tbsp. butter1/4 c. vanilla Cream together and spread on cake carefully.Recipe categories: Breads, Quick breads, Vegetables.
