Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- eggs - 4 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt
- flour
- water - 2/3 c
- soda - 2 tsp
- pumpkin - 2 c
- pumpkin spice - 2 tsp
- salad oil - 1 c
- nuts if desired - 1/2 c
How to make pumpkin bread:
Beat eggs, pumpkin, water, oil and vanilla. Beat well. Add sugar and beat. Sift dry ingredients and add to pumpkin mixture, beating until well blended. Grease and flour 4 bread pans, 9 x 5 x 3-inch. Bake 1 hour at 350°. Leave in pan about 10 minutes before turning out. Batter will be thin. Use ladle.
