  • shortening - 1/2 c
  • Bisquick - 3/4 c
  • slices bread - 6 item
  • syrup - 1 item

How to make puffy french toast:

Combine milk, egg and Bisquick. Heat shortening. Dip bread into mixture. Cook until lightly brown. Top with butter and syrup.
