Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 2 item
- flour - 1/2 c
- milk - 1/2 c
- freshly grated nutmeg - 1/4 tsp
- butter - 5 Tbsp
- confectioners sugar, sifted - 2 Tbsp
- juice of 1/2 lemon
How to make puff pancake:
Preheat oven to 425°. Beat eggs slightly. Mix in milk, then flour and nutmeg. Leave batter slightly lumpy. Melt butter in large skillet with ovenproof handle. Pour batter in skillet. Bake 15-20 minutes or until golden brown. Sprinkle with lemon juice and then sifted confectioner's sugar. Pancake will puff while baking and fall when removed from oven.
