  • butter, softened - 3/4 c
  • chopped walnuts
  • small boxes instant chocolate pudding - 2 item
  • milk - 3 c
  • pkg - 1 oz
  • confectioners sugar - 1 c
  • Cool Whip - 1 c

How to make pudding cake:

Combine flour, butter and 1 1/4 cups chopped walnuts; mix well. Bake in ungreased 9 x 13-inch pan for 15 to 20 minutes at 350°. Beat cream cheese and confectioners sugar until light. Fold in 1 cup Cool Whip. Spread on cooled crust. Mix pudding with milk; beat until thick. Spread on cream cheese layer. Spread remaining 1/4 cup nuts on top.
