  • sugar - 2 c
  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • eggs - 3 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • nutmeg - 1 tsp
  • soda - 1/2 tsp
  • buttermilk - 1/2 c
  • nuts - 1 c
  • stick butter - 1 item
  • corn syrup - 1 Tbsp
  • self-rising flour - 2 c
  • allspice - 1 tsp
  • Wesson oil - 1 c
  • jars junior prunes - 2 item
  • Pour into either a Bundt pan or an 11 x 9-inch pan

How to make prune cake:

Mix with beaters until well mixed. Pour into either a Bundt pan or an 11 x 9-inch pan. Bake at 350° for 35 to 45 minutes, depending on pan size.Icing:1 c. sugar1 Tbsp. corn syrup1/2 c. buttermilk1/2 tsp. soda1 stick butter1 tsp. vanilla Cook all, except vanilla, to soft ball stage. Remove from heat. Add vanilla. Beat until creamy and pour over cake quickly. This will stay real thin.
