Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- wesson oil - 3/4 c
- eggs - 3 item
- buttermilk - 1 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- self-rising flour - 2 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- allspice - 1 tsp
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- cooked prunes - 1 c
- shopped nuts - 1 c
- Add prunes and nuts, mix well
- white Karo syrup - 1 Tbsp
- stick butter - 1 item
How to make prune cake:
Sift dry ingredients and mix with liquid. Add prunes and nuts, mix well. Pour into Bundt pan. Bake at 325° for 1 hour and 5 minutes.Glaze:1 c. sugar1/2 c. buttermilk1 Tbsp. white Karo syrup1 stick butter1 tsp. vanilla Mix and bring to hard boil.
