Pretzel salad



  • sugar - 4 Tbsp
  • cream cheese - 18 oz
  • melted butter - 3/4 c
  • boiling water
  • frozen strawberries - 10 oz
  • crushed pretzels - 2 c
  • envelopes Dream Whip - 2 item

How to make pretzel salad:

Crush pretzels with rolling pin. Mix pretzels, 4 tablespoons sugar and 3/4 cup of melted butter. Pat into a 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake at 400° for 8 minutes. Cool.

Cream the cheese and sugar. Fold in whipped topping. Spread over cool pretzel base. Mix jello and water; stir in the strawberries. Let congeal somewhat, then spoon onto cheese layer. Refrigerate until firm.
