Pretzel salad



  • sugar - 2 Tbsp
  • pkg - 1 oz
  • stick margarine - 1 item
  • boiling water - 2 c
  • Cool Whip - 1 (8
  • can crushed pineapple, drained - 1 item
  • coarsely crushed pretzels - 2 c
  • boxes orange pineapple jello - 2 oz

How to make pretzel salad:

Combine pretzels, sugar and margarine in a 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake at 350° for 10 minutes. Let cool.

Whip cream cheese and Cool Whip until soft. Fold in sugar. Spread over pretzel layer and chill.

Top Layer: Mix jello in boiling water. Use juice from pineapple for the cold water in jello. Let this begin to congeal. Add pineapple. Put on second layer and chill several hours.
