Pretzel salad
Ingredients/Components
- crushed pretzels - 2 c
- melted butter or margarine - 3/4 c
- sugar - 3 Tbsp
- softened cream cheese - 8 oz
- large box strawberry Jell-O - 1 item
- frozen strawberries - 10 oz
- Cool Whip, thawed - 10 oz
- boiling water - 2 c
How to make pretzel salad:
Combine pretzels, margarine and 3 tablespoons sugar. Press into 8 x 12-inch glass baking dish. Bake at 400° for 8 minutes. Cool.Combine cream cheese and sugar. Fold in Cool Whip and spread over cooled crust.
Combine Jell-O, 2 cups water and berries. Stir well and refrigerate until Jell-O begins to set. Pour Jell-O over cream cheese mixture. Chill until firm. Serves 12.
