Pretzel salad



  • sugar
  • pkg - 1 oz
  • 3 oz - 4 pkg
  • melted butter
  • container Cool Whip, thawed - 1 (9
  • pineapple juice or water - 2 c
  • broken pretzels in very small pieces
  • frozen whole strawberries no sugar added or 2 to 3 c

How to make pretzel salad:

Place pretzels and butter in 13-inch pan; bake at 400° for 10 minutes. Cool. Cream the cream cheese and sugar. Spread over top of lukewarm pretzels. Spread whipped topping over cheese. Chill. Dissolve jello in boiling pineapple juice. Stir in strawberries and allow to thicken to jelled point. Spread over topping and refrigerate until firm.
