  • sugar - 1/2 c
  • cornstarch - 2 tsp
  • margarine - 5 Tbsp
  • cream cheese, softened
  • medium Cool Whip - 1 item
  • crushed pretzels
  • pecans optional - 1/2 c
  • crushed pineapple unsweetened, drained save juice - 15 oz

How to make pretzel salad:

Melt margarine and add to pretzels. If using pecans, do not use 1/2 cup of the pretzels. Press mixture in oblong dish. Mix together cream cheese, Cool Whip and sugar. Pour on top of pretzels. Put pineapple juice in boiler and add 2 teaspoons cornstar
