Pretzel salad



  • sugar - 3 Tbsp
  • pkg - 1 oz
  • boiling water - 3 c
  • powdered sugar - 3/4 c
  • frozen strawberries
  • strawberry jello
  • Dream Whip or Cool Whip - 1 pkg
  • 1/2 sticks butter - 1 item

How to make pretzel salad:

Crush pretzels (saving 3 tablespoons crumbs for top). Add 3 tablespoons sugar and the butter or margarine. Stir with fork until well blended. Pat in bottom of 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake at 400° for 8 minutes. Cool.

Prepare Dream Whip as directed on package. Add powdered sugar and cream cheese; beat with mixer until well blended. Spread on top of cooled crust. Dissolve jello in boiling water. Add the strawberries. Cool in refrigerator until syrupy; pour over above filling. Sprinkle reserved crumbs on top.

Raspberries are also very good.
