Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3 Tbsp
- cream cheese - 1 (8
- pkg - 6 oz
- stick margarine - 1 item
- Cool Whip - 8 oz
- frozen strawberries - 1 qt
- thin pretzel sticks, broken finely - 2 c
How to make pretzel salad:
Cream margarine and sugar and add pretzels and spread on bottom of baking dish (13 x 9 x 2-inches). Bake at 325° for 10 minutes. Cool completely.Cream cheese and 1 cup sugar thoroughly. Add Cool Whip and spread on cooled crust mixture.
Mix gelatin with two cups boiling water. Add frozen strawberries, stir thoroughly. When begins to congeal, pour over top of cheese topping. Refrigerate.
