Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3 Tbsp
- pkg - 1 oz
- boiling water - 2 c
- powdered sugar - 1 c
- stick margarine, melted - 1 item
- crushed pretzels - 1 c
- pecans, broken - 1 c
- nondairy whipped topping, thawed - 1 (8
- large box strawberry gelatin - 1 item
How to make pretzel salad:
Melt margarine and mix with pretzels, sugar and pecans. Pat into bottom of 9 x 13 x 2 pan. Bake 8 to 10 minutes at 350°. Cool. Beat cream cheese, nondairy topping and powdered sugar. Spread on top of pretzel mixture. Place in refrigerator for 30 minutes. Dissolve gelatin in boiling water; add strawberries and stir until gelatin begins to thicken. Pour over cream cheese mixture and refrigerate about 2 hours. Top with whipped topping.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pineapple, Salads.
