Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 3 Tbsp
  • cream cheese - 8 oz
  • boiling water - 1 c
  • can crushed pineapple - 1 item
  • small container Cool Whip - 1 item
  • frozen strawberries - 16 oz
  • strawberry jello
  • melted oleo - 3/4 c
  • crushed butter pretzels - 2 c

How to make pretzel jello:

Mix the first 3 ingredients. Press into a 9 x 13-inch non-buttered pan. Bake for 4 minutes at 400°. Let cool.

Mix the cream cheese with the sugar and Cool Whip. Blend well; spread on cooled crust. Chill for 15 minutes. Mix the jello with the boiling water. Drain pineapple; save juice. Put in 1 cup if not enough; add water to equal one cup. Combine jello mixture, fruit and juice. Chill until almost set. Spread on top of cream cheese mixture; let stand until firm.
