- macaroni dry - 1/2 lb
- butter - 1 tsp
- egg, beaten - 1 item
- salt - 1 tsp
- dry mustard - 1 tsp
- grated cheese sharp - 3 c
- milk - 1 c
How to make president reagan's favorite macaroni and cheese:
Cook macaroni as directed and drain well. Stir in butter and egg. Mix mustard and salt with 1 tablespoon hot water. Add to milk. Add cheese, saving enough to sprinkle on top. Pour into buttered dish; add milk. Sprinkle cheese. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.Recipe categories: Main dish, Casseroles, One Dish meal.
